About Don Dussault
Don Dussault holds his Masters in Social Work and is registered with the Ontario
College of Social Workers and Social Service.

Don completed his internships at Sunnybrook Hospital and the York University
Psychotherapy Training Program, providing one -to-one psychotherapy to 25-30 clients.

His work includes the Hostels to Homes program as an after care worker to people with
concurrent disorders that are transiting to housing. Here he provides ongoing, intensive
support, case management, counselling and crisis intervention to clients.

Because training is ongoing, Don has attended multiple advanced conferences to
acquire new skills and learn new interventions to assist those with more serious mental
health issues.

Being an active advocate in the community, Don Dussault donates his time and therapy
skills at The Good Shepherd Mission, 519 Community Centre and The Toronto Distress
Centre, where he has volunteered for the last 7 years.

Don's Counselling experience includes Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy, Depression Therapy, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Anxiety Disorders and
Emotion Focused Therapy. Don Dussault is committed to helping people develop their
full potential and is currently accepting new clients for individual, marriage and couples

In these settings and in his private practice, Don Dussault has worked extensively with
clients suffering from losses, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, coming out issues,
and with those dealing with substance abuse.

As a Social Worker, Don is committed to assisting those less advantaged and working
towards social justice.
